Makkah, lasting impression

I suppose once we have experienced being in front of the Kaabah, and performing salah in the Masjidil Haram with the congregation led by the imam with his sublime rendition of the Quranic verses, we are a different person. A mark has been made in our heart.

I miss all that. If I'm reminded of the beautiful feeling prostrating on the cold marble floor with one of the best views of the Kaabah (Hajar Aswad, Kaabah door, Maqam Ibrahim), I would be brought to tears. It was truly a blessed gift. Mak misses Kaabah too. So do other people I know.
